The part number on the lower left back side of the box is X05-34207. I think it is the middle of the line optical mouse. When I was at best buy, there was one that was about $20 more than this mouse and Steveo says there is a cheaper one also. This mouse was $49 at best buy. I recommend this mouse because it fit right in without having to trim anything on the mouse board. Klamath tells me that his mouse board was in separate pieces and looked different from mine. This mouse was a piece of cake to install. I can't say what you will find with other mice. Remove the two Teflon glides at the rear of the mouse and undo the two screws under the glides. The body should just pull apart.
