Updated on 12.05.02 10:58 AM Please hit refresh on your Browser, I have changed several items recently. Back to main Panther page   Chop up the red base of the mouse into the shape you see above. The clear part is basically the shape you want. I used a hacksaw to get the rough shape and then sanded the edges to clean it up. I did not have access to my dremel tools. The dremel will make this whole operation much easier. The thing in the middle is the laser focussing lens. NOTE: You have to chop up the red base because it is too long. It sits on top of some of the tall solder joints and keeps it from getting flush against the panther circuit board. The small red square you see above will sit right in the middle of the panther board in a totally clear and flat area. It cuts very easily with a hack saw. You will need to hold it in a vise.
