I want you to see how the aimbot reacts with other weapons also. This aimbot is out to destroy the Q3 gaming experience. These demo's are posted here so that server admin's and honest gamers can spot a player using it while spectating the player.
I used the nopcode aimbot with version 1.17. You must bind a target key to +button 6 to use this bot. Once you press the target button, the bot will lock onto any target close to it, even on the other side of a wall, floor or ceiling. You do not have to press the target button while playing if you don't want to use the bot, so the operator of this bot can be very sneaky and only use it occasionally. You will notice in the demos, that the bot follows a target coming around the corner before you can even see the player. This should be the easiest way to spot a player using this bot.

Basically you replace your quake.exe file with the nopcode quake.exe file. The nopcode quake.exe file is 896kb and the stock 1.17 quake.exe file is 833kb. Somehow it seemed to make no difference when I went on line to test it. I got right into a pure server, no problem. This is not a proxy bot, the code is in the quake.exe file.
Updated info as of 01/20/01
I have recently used a demo conversion program to convert the 1.17 demos to 1.27.
You can now view the old 1.17 demos in the new 1.27 quake 3 format. These are not demos of a 1.27 version of the nopbot. I have no idea if a 1.27 version exist and I am not interested in testing it. I already know what this thing can do from the old 1.17 version. Hopefully there will not be a newer version.

The Demos

This demo was recorded on line. As far as I can tell, the server was running pure.  Watch as I press the target button while looking up, down or at a wall. The aimbot will swing around and acquire the target, even behind a wall, floor or ceiling. I am pressing the target button as I go through the level. You can tell when there is an enemy near, the aimbot will swing around in the direction of the target. It looks like I am spastic sometimes, but the aimbot is seeing a target on the other side of the wall.
The aimbot sucks with rockets, it tries to score a direct hit. Also when a target is moving away from you perpendicularly, the aimbot has trouble tracking. For some reason the demo looks a bit jerky, it did not look that way as I was playing.
This is a patriot bot that was on a pure server on line.
There are no human players.

Please do not ask me to send you this aimbot.
I only tested it and made these demo's for the good of the community.
I will not email this aimbot to anyone.
This thing really needs to be stopped.
Email ID software and let them know you are concerned.
ID software
This is a technical email form, but that is all I could find so I used it to submit email to them.
